Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans)

All-in-One Coverage With Extra Benefits

Medicare Advantage Plans—also known as Part C—combine your hospital (Part A) and medical (Part B) coverage into one plan managed by a private insurance company. Many plans also include prescription drug coverage (Part D) and extra benefits like dental, vision, hearing, and wellness programs—all in one.

What Advantage Plans Cover

Bundled Coverage With Built-In Extras

Every Medicare Advantage plan must offer the same basic benefits as Original Medicare—but most plans go beyond the basics. Depending on your plan, coverage may include:

  • Prescription drug coverage Part D

  • Dental, vision and hearing benefits

  • OTC (over the counter) product allowance

  • Transportation and wellness services

  • Gym membership

  • Annual out of pocket limits for medical expenses.

Most plans are PPO and HMO network-based which means using in-network providers helps keep your costs low.

What You'll Pay

Low monthly premium, predictable costs

Many Medicare Advantage plans have $0 or low monthly premiums, and most include no deductibles for medical services. Unlike Original Medicare, these plans come with an annual out-of-pocket maximum, so you’ll know your financial limit for the year.

Your exact costs will depend on:

  • The plan you choose

  • The network structure )PPO, HMO etc.)

  • Whether the plan includes drug coverage

  • Any additional benefits you select

I’ll help you compare options side by side and find a plan that fits your care needs and your budget.

When to Enroll

Key Medicare Advantage Enrollment Periods

You can enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan:

  • When you first become eligible for Medicare

  • During the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP): October 15 – December 7

  • During the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (MAOEP): January 1 – March 31

  • If you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) due to certain life changes

Plans and benefits can change each year, so it’s important to review your coverage annually. I offer free plan reviews to help you stay informed and ahead of any changes.
